Bloody awesome singer and that's an understatement.
You don't have to be a fan of the Opera to appreciate this.

Totally agree - and she's not stereotyped into Opera alone - albeit the latter is her mainstream forte. The semi final song wings of an angel was just as mind blowing as her masterpiece in the Final Ava Maria.

Simon Cowe summed it right on the button at the Final :

"you are one of the best finds for a very very very long time .... that performance was not just good enough for this Country ...... that was World Class"

And I loved the look on Simon Cowe's face at the Audition when he whipped round to look at her, having heard the first few Bars. There is absolutely no doubt we will hear much of this girl in a very short space of time at International level. Utterly Stunning voice and incredible talent.

And only 12years old ....

She lives less than 3 miles from me so you know we were all rooting for her

Bianca Ryan and I have seen her do better (like when she won)

Faryl Smith didnt win in the end. I think she must have come atleast 4th or 5th which isnt too bad considering she had tough competition.

Unfortunately she didnt really have a sob story. I think a dying parent , or bullying at school could have won it for her.

ps - BGT is a pile of shambles. I hate it because they fix everything ,over-egg sob stories and force contestants to change their acts/songs to suit their TV ratings.


Bianca ryan is a freak of nature in a good way. Saying that , there was this other girl (12 years old) who was a very talented singer , entered in the second series , the producers forced her to sing the same song that Bianca sang. The judges burnt this poor girl alive for being a Bianca wannabe. Made for good tv ratings but poor her!.
