New install of WB yesterday (Zubaz led me down the path of true enlightenment on the GC2 Forum after blinding people with a "neked" Windows screenshot   ).

Going fine, with one minor issue.  Copernic Agent Pro backgrounds show up as Black inside one of the Frames, including the Link text.

Screen shots in the Link show on the left the effect on a XP Pro SP3  FX60 2Gb RAM.  The one on the right is from a Vista SP1 laptop Intel Core2Duo 2Ghz T7250 2Gb RAM), on my home network to show what it should look like  (Laptop will be getting the true enlightenment treatment shortly   )

At present Copernic Agent appears to be the only one thats reacted in this way, although I have yet to fire up all the apps I have on the PC.

WB Sys:
WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.11 (build 58 x86)
WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

(The 7800 GTX is a dual 7800GTX SLI,  NVIDEA Driver version is 6.14.11.7516 dtd 02/05/2008 - International Driver). PC & Laptop are fully updated in terms of Windows Updates.

I loaded Dogma4X immediately after installing WindowsBlinds

It could well be that this is a quirk caused by the way Copernic is built, if so thats life, its no huge problem, as you can see its relatively easy to work out what is where despite the colour corruption, and all the links remain functional, but clearly its better in the long term to fix it if thats feasible.

Any thoughts greatfully received

whilst you wait on answers:

WB config > settings tab > change the look of a particular app > add per application setting

once you select the appropriate .exe(s) you can totally exclude from skinning or exclude parts to see if one way will work

if you found a skin that will work with Copernic you can set WB to skin it with that skin only (I use Antares as a good fall back skin)

Easiest fix is to open the WB config, go to the Setting Tab, then "Change the look of an app".

Add per application setting, Browse to the app, and then exclude it (first option I think).

If you want to try to get it to partly skin you can tweak the other items on that page to get the best you can get.

Oh . .and the problem may be because DogmaX is an older skin.

One other - self generated problem ....

I registered Object Desktop for the PC, installed - all fine. I also registered Object Desktop Ultimate for the Laptop (Vista Ultimate SP1), as I will using both the PC and the Laptop simultaneously.

Is there a way of "upgrading" the original Object Desktop I bought for the PC to Object Desktop Ultimate - ie so I have a Object Desktop Ultimate licence for each of the PC and Laptop ?

Your license is tied to your registered email account.  Setting that up in impulse should provide you access to the ODNT:U apps on both.

Look to the registration section to update serials if necessary (upper right of Impulse).  Next to that is a icon to update you login info if needed.

Perfect - worked fine, many thanks

One more (!). I paid the dues for the WinCustomize Browser etc when installing the PC. How do I get at it for the laptop ? Cant find where to download it into the laptop without additional sub (if the latter is the case, no problem, I am assuming at present its just one sub for that one)
